ON ART

honestly, i dont know where to start! my thoughts and feelings about art- film, music, visual, All of it- are many and difficult to articulate. thats precisely why i want to log it! my feelings about media are BIG, and oftentimes i cant even articulate why something made an impact on me.
it feels very vulnerable to do so, so i usually keep most of my feelings to myself. but i think through a blog- where i can pretend no one is looking- i can find my voice.

i dont think i'll be cataloguing every album, movie, or manga i read- i at least wont be writing in depth about all of them. i hope to get in the habit of logging those that left an impression on me.
i really regret not keeping track of my feelings of the countless films and comics that have changed me in some way. i would give anything to look back on my initial thoughts, and reflect on them years later. but i can start now!

im looking forward to getting to know myself in this way, and i hope i can inspire others to look into some of my favorite pieces of art in their own time!
